TERMS | WAIVERS

TERMS & CONDITIONS

A non-refundable deposit of $895 is required to reserve your space.

Final Balance Policy: Final payment must be received by April 1, 2022. A $500 late fee will be added for payments after this date.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation your entire payment will be refunded, less the $895 deposit, if the cancellation is made before April 1, 2022. Payments are non-refundable after this date.

Scholarship applications: Scholarship application deadline is September 15, 2021 and must be accompanied by the deposit. If you are not granted a subsidy by November 1, 2021 you may opt to cancel your registration for a full refund of your deposit by November 30, 2021. If you do not exercise this option, you will automatically be registered as a non-scholarship participant on December 1, 2021.

Transfers: Non-scholarship registrations may be transferred to another approved teacher prior to April 1, 2022. Please contact Jules to approve and facilitate the transfer.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I understand that yoga includes physical movements. As in the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort I will adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended nor is it safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or hereafter may have against Jules Mitchell. Additionally, I, heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Jules Mitchell for any injury or death caused by their negligence on their acts. I furthermore affirm that I am the person stated below.

By signing here, you consent to the possible reproduction of your likeness and/or voice, as well as the likeness/voice of any person representing your product or service, and you waive any claims in connection therewith.

300hr Online TT 2022 Extended Schedule - Pay In Installments

Jules Mitchell’s 300 hour advanced teacher training includes 2 required online modules, homework before both modules, a final case study project after the training, and an elective module with a South Asian/Desi teacher in topics ranging from yoga philosophy to cultural appropriation. Module 1 and 2 content is heavy on biomechanics, principles of exercise science, applications of pain science, neurophysiology, and stretching. These themes are combined with somatics for coordinative variability, pose analysis and purpose, use of props for specific adaptations, pathology, restorative yoga, and intentional sequencing. Participants will learn to read original research papers and analyze them for the both their strengths and their biases. Critical thinking and intellectual discourse are a central component in this training, which was designed to help teachers navigate through contradictory perspectives and empower them with education.
